Morten Albek

Morten Albek is a bonsai artist recognized worldwide and is part of the list of artists of "The Bonsai Club International". In the book of Daizo Iwasaki, he won the award for best Penjing world.

Pioneer Europeen on Shohin´s work, he is the author of many articles published in Denmark, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, United States, South America, and even some in Japan.

He performed demonstrations and workshops throughout Europe, and even traveled to Brazil.

In 2003 the web "Shohin-bonsai Europe" is inaugurated ans it is today one of the most visited sites on Shohin-Bonsai.

In 2008 he published his book 'Majesty in Miniature, Shohin Bonsai, unlocking the secrets of small trees'. Two years later his blog www.shohinblog.com is created. It´s   where we find tips, events, articles ... focused on the world of Shohin-Bonsai.

Born in 1957 in Poland, he is now a recognized bonsaist within the International Bonsai Club. He was part of the Board and is currently a certified instructor of the Bonsai Club International.
His recognition also came from Asia when he was declared Honorary Director and Ambassador in Poland of the Chinese Association of Bonsai. And his work has been important in Poland:

Founder and President of the Polish Association of Bonsai 2002
Founder and owner of Bonsai Academy in Wrocław
Founder and owner of Bonsai center in Wroclaw
Honorary Ambassador of the Chinese Artists Association in Poland Penjing
He is a great communicator, and a collaborator in the media about the art of bonsai as well as other media such as television and radio.
His long history is reflected in his participation in international events and exhibitions where his work has been recognized:
Ginko Award Artist of the Year: 2001/2003/2007
Noelanders Trofee in 2001-2013

During this event, we will enjoy two masters of international recognition.
Morten Albek, a pioneer in the Shohin-Bonsai and Wlodzimierz Pietraszko, artist of the year in 2007 in the prestigious competition Ginko.
